Sri Lanka Tour Package

Arrive in Sri Lanka, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to Kandy (travel time approximately 3.5 hours). En route, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, started in 1975 to house abandoned and wounded elephants, followed by a spice garden visit. On arrival in Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Sri Lanka’s most prized possession. A gem gallery visit follows. In the evening, witness the colourful Kandy Cultural Show. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kandy.

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden, then travel to Nuwara Eliya (approximately 2.5 hours). En route, visit the Ramboda Hanumanji Temple (subject to temple timings), a tea plantation and Ramboda Falls. Nuwara Eliya, the “Little England” of Sri Lanka, is set against mountains, valleys, waterfalls and tea plantations. Also visit Gregory Lake with a boat ride, and the Seetha Amman Temple and Asoka Vatika. Overnight stay at a hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

After breakfast, proceed to Bentota (approximately 5 hours), witnessing St Clair’s Falls and Devon Falls en route. On arrival, commence Bentota sightseeing including the Madu River ride, Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery and Bentota water sports (jet ski, banana ride and tube ride). Overnight stay at a hotel in Bentota.

After breakfast, proceed to Colombo (approximately 2 hours). Enjoy a drive through the city taking in the commercial areas and the tree-lined residential Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative centre; Sea Street, the goldsmiths’ quarter in the heart of Pettah; the Bazaar area with its Hindu temple of elaborate stone carvings; and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. Also visit the BMICH to see the replica of the Avukana Buddha, and Independence Square. Time is also set aside for shopping in Colombo, including ODEL. Overnight stay at a hotel in Colombo.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight back to India.
