Itinerary
Day 1 :
Delhi to Shimla
After pick-up from Delhi Airport, begin your Himachal holiday in Shimla. On arrival, check in to the Shimla hotel. Visit the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, and cover The Mall, Scandal Point, the Ridge and the Gaiety Theatre on foot. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 :
Shimla — Kufri — Kullu — Manali
After breakfast, proceed to Kufri, 22 km from Shimla. Kufri is an all-season destination: winters are packed with snow adventures while summers bring colourful meadows. Kufri also has a Himalayan wildlife zoo and the Kufri Fun Park (entry and activities at your own cost; closed on Tuesdays). Then drive to Manali, visiting Kullu en route where you can see Pashmina shawl showrooms and try white water river rafting. On arrival in Manali, check in to the hotel for an overnight stay. Major attractions: Heritage Museum, Lakkar Bazaar, Himalayan wildlife zoo and Kufri Fun Park.
Day 3 :
Manali Local Sightseeing
After freshening up, enjoy the Manali local sightseeing tour. Begin with the Hadimba Devi Temple and Ghatotkacha Temple, dedicated to Mata Hadimba, the most worshipped deity in Himachal, and her son Ghatotkacha. Next visit the Clubhouse, where recreational activities such as skating, zipline and table tennis are available. Later, bathe in Vashisht’s hot springs, known for their medicinal properties; across from the springs are temples of Lord Shiva and Lord Ram. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 :
Solang Valley, Rohtang or Atal Tunnel
After breakfast, head towards Solang Valley, famous for adventure activities where you can try paragliding, zorbing, ATV rides, horse riding and trail rides. Please understand all safety protocols and measures before taking part. Afterwards, return to the hotel for dinner and a comfortable stay. Please see the important notes regarding winter conditions, Rohtang Pass permits and the optional Atal Tunnel drive.
Day 5 :
Manali to Delhi
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Delhi Airport for your drop, with memories of your trip.
